Stop schizophrenia before it starts? We might be on the right track

A University of California, San Francisco study highlights how biomarkers—especially brain-wave patterns (EEG)—could help identify people at high risk of developing Schizophrenia before full symptoms appear. Researchers aim to use these biological signals to predict who will develop the disorder and tailor early interventions accordingly. This approach could shift care from reactive treatment to early detection and prevention, potentially improving long-term outcomes.
